Service Tank ST 3000–6000

The superstructure is designed as a mobile tank for the transport and application of asphalt emulsions at temperatures of up to 80 °C. The unit is mounted on a truck chassis corresponding to the required payload capacity.

The emulsion tank is insulated and manufactured from carbon steel or stainless steel plate. It is equipped with a heating system to maintain the optimum material temperature. The product may be heated either by a heating tube (direct heating) or by a thermal oil heating coil (indirect heating). The drive of the dispensing/metering pump may be provided either by a dedicated auxiliary engine or from the chassis hydraulic system.

The equipment is primarily intended for the transport and application of asphalt emulsions and is not subject to ADR.
