Product description
The TURBO utilises a specialised jet patching technology for cleaning and filling potholes in road surfaces using cold mix material. This method is based on the continuous formation of a mixture of aggregate and asphalt emulsion directly above the pothole, ensuring efficient and long-lasting surface repair.
Principle of Operation:
- Pothole cleaning – A powerful air stream thoroughly removes debris and prepares the surface for repair.
- Pothole penetration – Asphalt emulsion is introduced into the air stream, penetrating the pothole.
- Pothole filling – Aggregate is drawn into the air stream and coated with emulsion before impact. The air stream forces the aggregate into the pothole, gradually filling it.
- Final finishing – Application of clean aggregate seals and reinforces the repaired pothole.
Its well-designed construction, including an insulated emulsion tank, high-performance blower and easy-to-operate working arm, make the TURBO a reliable solution for road maintenance. On the TURBO Elefant model, the working arm is mounted on the front mounting plate, allowing all operations to be performed in front of the vehicle. All functions can be conveniently controlled directly from the operator’s working position at the pothole.
TURBO machines are primarily designed as road repair units; however, their functionality can be easily extended. During winter operations, a rear spreader can be attached, allowing the unit to serve as an emergency spreader for inert material.
Flexible installation: The machine is designed for mounting on various high-payload chassis or tandem trailers
