Asphalt Milling Machine SFR 700

Product description

The joint milling machine is a specialised machine designed for milling joints and cracks in asphalt and concrete surfaces. Its self-propelled drive enables it to move easily around the worksite even during milling operations.

Power is provided by a diesel engine with an electric starter, which operates the milling unit, travel drive, steering and cutter lift via a hydraulic system. The milling depth is continuously adjustable up to 40 mm using a hydraulic cylinder controlled by a foot pedal. The machine uses disc cutters fitted with carbide inserts with a diameter of 160–180 mm.

The chassis is three-wheeled, with a driven rear axle and a steerable front wheel. The machine has a hydrostatic drive with smooth speed control. Directional steering is hydraulic and operated by a steering wheel that turns the control wheel via a hydraulic cylinder. The wheels are made of solid rubber, ensuring durability and a long service life.

Operator safety is a priority – the machine is equipped with a protective frame that protects the operator in the event of rollover. It is also fitted with a safety system that prevents the engine from starting if the operator is not seated, thereby preventing uncontrolled movement. A STOP switch is located on the steering column to immediately shut down the engine in the event of danger. For improved visibility, the machine is equipped with a warning beacon.

On request, the milling machine can be equipped with a debris vacuum system powered by a separate engine, which can be easily mounted or removed.
