Product description
The bitumen sprayer is a specialised superstructure designed for the precise application of asphalt emulsions during road maintenance and construction. The spray bar with regulation enables uniform application per m² of surface depending on the vehicle’s travelling speed.
The tank is manufactured from steel or stainless steel sheet and is equipped with thermal insulation and a heating system to maintain the material at the optimal temperature. The contents can be heated either by a heating tube (direct heating) or by a heating coil with thermal oil (indirect heating), ensuring uniform heating and minimising temperature losses. Temperature control is provided by an automatic heating control system.
The sprayer is powered by a diesel engine in combination with a hydraulic system that controls both the material flow and the operation of the spray bar.
The superstructure complies with strict ADR requirements (Class 9) for the transport of asphalt products with operating temperatures above 100 °C and a flash point above 200 °C, ensuring safe operation and transport.
