Tank Modules – Diesel, Oils and AdBlue CSN 6 to CSN 12

Product description

Tank service superstructures are designed for the transport and refuelling of mining machinery, vehicles and other mobile equipment with diesel fuel, 2 to 3 types of oil, and AdBlue. The superstructure construction complies with all regulations for the transport of dangerous goods under ADR – Class 3, UN 30/1202 – code LGBF. The superstructures can be permanently mounted on any chassis with a minimum payload of 17 tonnes.

Construction of the Diesel Tank
1–2 compartments with a transport volume of 6,000–10,000 L. The interior of the tank is fitted with welded baffles or partitions in accordance with ADR standards. Tank material – stainless steel AISI 304 (or aluminium alloy H5182). The tank is equipped with safety valves and a vapour recovery system enabling both bottom and top loading. The enclosed dispensing technology compartment is located either behind the cab or at the rear of the vehicle, depending on the chassis weight distribution.

Dispensing Equipment:
1x metered dispensing via a hose reel (mechanically spring-driven, hydraulically or pneumatically powered) with DN 32 (38) hose, length 15–40 m, DN 32 dispensing nozzle (38) (flow rate 180–250 L/min.)
1x metered dispensing via a mechanically wound hose reel with DN 25 hose, length 15 m + DN 20 nozzle with automatic shut-off (flow rate up to 60 L/min.)
1x metered high-capacity dispensing via a separate outlet with DN 3” coupling and MK 3” cap (flow rate up to 400 L/min.)

Diesel Metering Unit
Maximum flow rate up to 500 L/min – mechanical counter or electronic system with temperature compensation to 15 °C, including electronic printer. Option for connection with data transmission of dispensed volumes to specific refuelled mobile vehicles, machinery and equipment after login via RFID card or chip. Data are transmitted via web interface or local Wi-Fi to a PC.

Construction of the Insulated Tank for Oils and AdBlue
A double-wall, indirectly heated, four-compartment tank is installed in a separate technological cabinet behind the cab (or at the rear of the vehicle). The tank comprises 3 × 200 L compartments for clean oils and 1 x 500 L compartment for AdBlue. All compartments of the separate tank are fitted with calibrated pressure sensors for the immediate monitoring of fill levels. Clean oil compartments are filled separately from the bottom via pressure dry couplings. The AdBlue compartment is filled via a “C” coupling or through a top opening with a lockable DN 2” cap. Filling of the tank is monitored on a display in the dispensing technology compartment. An acoustic signal is triggered when 95% capacity is reached.

The metered dispensing technology for clean oils and AdBlue is equipped with: filters up to 5 microns, hydraulically or electrically driven pumps. Dispensing is via mechanically wound hose reels with hose lengths of 15–20 m and dispensing nozzles.
